California Restaurant Safety Manuals

See how a restaurant's answers become a written safety manual before deciding whether the builder fits your business. Our full-length restaurant sample uses a fictional company, with example kitchen procedures and forms you can inspect page by page.

Start with the restaurant sample

The sample represents an invented neighbourhood restaurant with a kitchen, bar and dish pit. It illustrates the IIPP and the catalogue programs generated by that example's answers. Your own output may differ. Do not copy its names, staffing assumptions or procedures into your workplace without checking your actual conditions.

Look beyond the cover

Read the kitchen checklists, task hazard analyses, inspection forms and completion notices. Consider your own fryer, slicer, knives, hot surfaces and wet floors when evaluating the example. A sample's treatment of a task does not establish that its controls are sufficient for your equipment or workplace.

Enter the conditions at your restaurant

Use your real operations, responsibilities and workplace answers when building your program. The applicable catalogue chapters depend on those answers. Check the document catalogue for coverage; a manual is not a promise to address every food-service, licensing, insurance or workplace requirement.

Choose documents, then check the plan

An eligible Single IIPP purchase supplies the IIPP, not a restaurant manual. Manual subscriptions include the relevant catalogue programs within the chosen tier. Starter excludes silica and respiratory protection plans, which require Pro within supported scope. Read the pricing page for current prices, renewal terms and exclusions.

The employer completes and uses the program

Assign responsibilities, complete the marked sections and check procedures against the actual kitchen. Staff training, inspections and correction of hazards remain employer actions. Generated documents are not professionally approved, certified or endorsed. Read the full sample and your own preview before buying.
