Refund Policy
Why it works that way
What you are buying is a set of files. Once they are on your computer there is no way to give them back, and no way for us to take them back — so the download is the point at which the sale is complete. Until you take them, your money is yours.
That is why we show you what you are getting before you download it, and why the download button tells you what clicking it does.
What counts as downloading
Any download of any generated document for that order — the full program, a single plan, or one of the record forms. We record the date and time of the first one. Downloading again later changes nothing: the window closed at the first download, and re-downloading something you already own is not a new event.
Visiting the download page does not count. Looking at the button is not taking the goods.
Revised versions get their own window
If you edit your answers and we generate a new version, that new version is a new order with its own 7-day window — even if you downloaded the previous one. You have not seen the revised documents yet, and it would not be fair to hold an earlier download against them.
If something went wrong on our end
A failed delivery, a broken file, a duplicate charge, a generator error, a document that does not match the answers you gave — tell us and we will fix it or refund it, downloaded or not, window or no window. This policy limits refunds for changing your mind. It does not limit our responsibility for our own mistakes.
What this product is, and what it is not
We generate written safety programs from the answers you give us, current to the California standards cited in each document on the date it was issued. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice. We do not represent you before Cal/OSHA.
A written program is one part of compliance. Cal/OSHA judges a program by whether it is effective — whether it is followed, whether employees know about it, whether it has been communicated to them, and whether hazards found are actually corrected. No document can do those things for you, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome of an inspection. A refund is not available on the grounds that a program you did not implement did not protect you.
How to ask
Email us with the company name on the order and the date of purchase. Refund requests go to luminescentcompliance@gmail.com. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
This policy is displayed at checkout as well as here. California Civil Code §1723 requires a seller offering less than a full seven-day refund to display its policy conspicuously; a generated program is a customized good and is sold as final once delivered.
